Missouri Hog Tags Now Driving Scholarships

The wait is over! Razorbacks will soon appear on license plates in Missouri. The Arkansas Alumni Association has finished collecting the 200 required initial applications for the plates, and the Missouri Department of Transportation has started production. Anyone with a vehicle registered in Missouri can buy a Razorback License Plate, including those who are not University of Arkansas alumni.

Faculty & Staff "Workin' Like A Hog" at the University of Arkansas

University of Arkansas faculty and staff members of the Alumni Association got to unwind with Tex-Mex food and drinks at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House on May 12, 2009, while learning about what they’ve helped the Association accomplish through their support. Also each of the 93 faculty and staff members in attendance received a special “Workin’ Like A Hog” t-shirt from Houndstooth in recognition of their membership support.

Gray, Looney Receive 2009 Senior Honor Citation

University of Arkansas graduating seniors Nate Looney of Jonesboro and Erin Gray of Eugene, Ore., were recognized with the 2009 Senior Honor Citation award during the Arkansas Alumni Association Board of Directors luncheon on May 8. The citation includes a personal memento, a $500 cash award, life membership in the Arkansas Alumni Association as well as permanent recognition on the student Honor Wall at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House.
