Holly Hilburn, a born and raised Razorback from Little Rock, Arkansas, is proud to have served
on the 2011-2012 Student Alumni Board as Director of Operations. She graduated in May
with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and journalism, as well as minors in history and
general business. Because Holly was ahead in her curriculum, she was able to take only one
class in her last semester and work 20 hours a week for University Relations, the university’s
public relations department. Through this internship, Holly wrote several articles for Newswire
and other university publications, including the alumni magazine, Arkansas, and Research
Frontiers. In addition to her involvement with the Student Alumni Association, during her
undergraduate career, Holly also served as the Panhellenic Delegate and Recruitment Chairman
for her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma; she served the Associated Student Government through
several capacities, including Senate and the Executive Cabinet; and she was a member of the
Arkansas Booster Club, Public Relations Student Society of America, Order of Omega, Golden
Key and Phi Beta Kappa. Holly has thoroughly enjoyed her U of A experience and will be sad to
leave the Hill, but looks forward to moving to Dallas, Texas, this summer where she will continue
to pursue her career in the public relations field.
