My freshman year was a whirlwind. I was challenged and have grown in more ways than I have expected. While freshman year was tough, I was able to adapt and succeed. I know that the future years will be more difficult, but I know that I will figure things out and become better off as a result.

My favorite part about being a U of A student is all the opportunities and communities that can be found. There is always something going on and new experiences to be had. Free shirts and friends are always a good combo.

One of my favorite places on campus is Brough to Go. There have been countless times where I have been in a rush and would have had nothing to eat if it were not for this place. Brough to Go was able to keep my focus away from hunger and on studying.

As the year ends in off-campus quarantine, I am reminded of the importance of the Alumni Association scholarship. As families around the world struggle to make ends meet, I am afforded the opportunity of pursuing my education. The Alumni Association scholarship contributes to that opportunity and for that, I am grateful.
