What began as a small scholarship program awarding nine scholarships worth $6,200 in 1990 has grown to a program that annually awards scholarships to more than 200 University of Arkansas students.
Through the Alumni Endowed, “Roads,” Board of Directors, Chapters, Societies and various named scholarships, the Alumni Association will recognize 209 students this year with funds totaling more than $343,000 – a 20 percent increase from last year.
With the tremendous support of University of Arkansas license plate holders, the Association is awarding “Roads” Scholarships to more than 70 students this year. The Association’s newest scholarship program, Alumni Membership Scholarships, will assist 10 students with nearly $25,000 in scholarships generated from membership revenues. Five dollars from every annual membership now supports these need-based awards. Your membership matters!
