I chose the U of A because I had wanted to be a Razorback since I was five and watched the Texas game in 1969.

My fondest memory is camping out for basketball tickets for days before they went on sale or walking from Reid Hall to the football games through an armada of RVs that arrived on Wednesday.

The most influential figure while in school was Dr. Dennis Beckmann.  He was my first microeconomics teacher who I ended up learning under in three other classes.  He was integral in my passion for economics.

My favorite tradition is watching our team run through the “A.”

I am an Alumni Member because it is the natural progression of being a part of the U of A family.  The U of A is a very special place and keeping that connection throughout life is very important!

I am involved as a Board Member At-Large, and I tweet for the Dallas Chapter on occasion.

I give back, to avoid being a broken record, because the U of A is a special place, and to keep it special, we need to help ensure its legacy does not end.

My favorite Alumni event is Head to Hill in May.

My favorite Razorback possession, outside of my degree and name on the sidewalk, is a picture of Old Main that my wife took.  It captures the true nature of the U of A and Fayetteville.  It is framed and proudly displayed in my office at work.

Now in Texas,I am a director or operations for the Kansas City Southern Railway, I have been at it for five years, after being with J.B. Hunt for 19 years.  I enjoy my role as a leader and the chance to ‘coach’ new managers.

I encourage others to stay in touch with your college classmates.
