It’s that time of year again! The official University of Arkansas Homecoming celebration will be held October 24 – November 3, 2012 and we want you to help us celebrate! The Student Alumni Association and Homecoming Planning committee have worked tirelessly to organize a Homecoming celebration that is inclusive for U of A students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends.
This year’s 2012 Homecoming theme is Hog Holidays. Our goal is to make Homecoming 2012 a truly campus-wide celebration by increasing unity and diversity through collaboration with organizations from all across the University campus and Northwest Arkansas. We have the enthusiasm and excitement of every residence hall, registered student organization, Greek and international organizations, but the participation of our tremendously supportive alumni will make this year’s celebration one of extreme pride.
Alumni involvement is crucial to the success of any Homecoming event, and again we are especially excited about the anticipation we have received from the student body. The week of Homecoming promises to be one of excitement and engaging activities, all leading up to the showdown between Arkansas and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane on Saturday, Nov. 3. Please help us make this Homecoming a resounding success by being an active participant and/or volunteering for events. There is an event or volunteer opportunity for everyone, so join us in making 2012 Homecoming the best one yet!
