Director of Communications, Sam M. Walton College of Business

The director is responsible for the management of communications for special events such as the Walton College Awards Banquet, Outreach Center conferences, and the Arkansas Business Hall of Fame. The Director of Communications will work closely with the Walton College leadership team, the assistant director of creative services, and University Relations and reports directly to the Director of Development and External Relations.

Development Manager, College of Education and Health Professions

This position will manage development and fundraising activities specifically including but not limited to solicitations of sponsorships for special projects, scheduling prospect visits for the Dean and the Director, and the identification, cultivation and solicitation of select donor prospects. The Development Manager will manage the office by supervising, training, scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring part-time staff. The Development Manager assists the Director in the cultivation of donors, including scheduling of prospect visits for the Dean and the director. The Development Manager will be responsible for creating and maintaining the College’s gift stewardship monitoring system.

Sr. Director of Development: Corporate & Foundation Relations, University Development

The Senior Director of Development-Corporate and Foundation Relations will report to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Development and is an integral member of the Central Development Management team. The Senior Director plans and implements University Development’s fund raising priorities and institutional advancement activities related to corporations and foundations. The position’s primary responsibility is to secure private sector funding from corporations and foundations. The Senior Director will supervise the Corporate and Foundation Relations office staff and will work cooperatively with the Directors of Development in constituent units.

Business Manager, Intercollegiate Athletics

The University of Arkansas Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for the position of Athletic Business Manager. This position plays a significant role in the Athletic Business Office, providing accounting expertise, and managing various business processes, internal controls, and reporting requirements in accordance with all applicable University, State, and NCAA guidelines and procedures.

Manager of Retail Operations, Intercollegiate Athletics

The University of Arkansas Department of Athletics is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager of Retail Operations. This position plays an important role in the Athletic Department, managing the onsite and game-day operations of the department’s retail store (Hog Heaven). The Hog Heaven Store is the official fan shop for the Arkansas Razorbacks, with a wide offering of apparel and merchandise, and annual sales in excess of $1.5 million. This position will also serve as a liaison with the department’s online retail store and University’s campus bookstore, with the goal of creating synergies in the merchandising, marketing, sales, and customer service efforts of each unit.
