Greetings from Kansas City!
My name is Robert Koenig, and I’m writing to you on behalf of the Arkansas Alumni Association. As a fellow graduate of the Fay Jones School of Architecture + Design, I am asking you to consider enhancing your connection to the School and the University. I currently serve on the National Board of Directors and continue to support the University of Arkansas as a Life Member of the association. I also serve on the Dean’s Circle for the school as part of the academic outreach and information exchange to our industry and craft.
As a proud alumnus of the U of A, I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as an ambassador for my alma mater. My connections to both FAY and the University, particularly these past 18 months, have served me well in our new virtual world of design and construction. I am sure each of you has likewise adjusted to limited in-person contact with your clients, consultants, and vendors. I am thankful for the expanded view of both business and life I have participated in via the built networks of the University during this time.
Being a Razorback and a graduate of the Fay Jones School are components of my personal brand. Living and working in Kansas City as an out-of-state alumnus, I have been supported by the Alumni Association and FAY for most of my professional career. Membership has provided me with the opportunity to stay informed and connected to the community while also giving me an avenue to support prospective and current students (both passions of mine) as well as fellow alumni. I believe that each of you can likewise expand your connected experiences through your Alma Mater. The opportunities are wide-ranging and keep in mind that the Alumni Association is always there for you and is always in-season year after year.
