My name is Amy May Hopper, and I’m writing to you from Kansas City on behalf of the Arkansas Alumni Association. A graduate of the Dale Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food and Life Sciences, I currently serve on the National Board of Directors and continue to support the University of Arkansas as a Life Member of the association.
My husband and I are both proud alumni of the U of A, and the fuel that drives us to be involved as alumni is the appreciation we have for our own time at the University of Arkansas and the hope that future students can receive the same, if not better, opportunities. We acknowledge we would not be the people, personally or professionally, we are today without those experiences at the University of Arkansas, and many of those experiences would not have been possible for us without the association’s presence on campus. If our membership helps the University and the association to continue to elevate future students, and therefore future members of our communities, we want to give as much as we can to that mission.
