The Black Alumni Society Board has selected Reggie and Willie Murdock and Emanuel Banks as the Endowed Board Scholarship Chairs. The Murdocks and Banks will be in charge of selecting a committee to work with them on fundraising efforts for the BAS Endowed Scholarship.
The Murdocks have been supporters of the BAS Endowed Scholarship. They also have established the Reginald Kevin Murdock Jr. Academic Support Award scholarship. They have also been very strong supporters of the BAS Challenge Scholarship.
Kai Perry a freshman from Helena, AR is the first recipient of the Reginald Kevin Murdock Jr. Academic Support Award scholarship.
Banks also has supported the BAS Endowed Scholarship and the BAS Challenge Scholarship.
The committee will plan a meeting in Little Rock during January 2010.

I am just now seeing this. This article 2 years old and I didn’t know that it was written. This scholarship really helped me my first year of school and I am really thankful for it.
