Due to inclement weather and school closings throughout the region, the Arkansas Alumni Association scholarship deadline has been extended to Friday, February 4, 2011. Applications must be postmarked by February 4 for consideration.

The Arkansas Alumni Association scholarship application is available for current University of Arkansas students who meet specific criteria. These scholarships are for one-year and vary in amounts.
The time has come to apply for the R.E.A.L. Razorbacks Scholarship. This is a one-year award in the amount of $500. The award is distributed in $250 at the beginning of each the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 semesters. Last year, seven awards of $500 were made on behalf of R.E.A.L. Razorbacks. Don’t miss your chance to be a R.E.A.L. Scholar today.

The Alumni Association partnered with the Enhanced Learning Center to offer academic workshops for new Legacy Scholarship recipients on Oct. 13-15 at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. Legacy Scholars receive a waiver of non-resident tuition and must maintain a 2.75 GPA for renewal each year. The Alumni Association recognizes that the key to retaining the Legacy Scholarship is establishing a strong GPA the first semester.
