Beginning on Thursday, December 23, 2010, the Black Alumni Society and the Career Development Center will host a Resume Book for students, alumni and friends who are looking for current career opportunities. Employers who have vacancies within their businesses are also invited to participate.

To kick-off the 2010 Homecoming week, alumni and business leaders from around Northwest Arkansas learned how to successfully navigate their job search process after college and to find pathways to possibilities. This is the third year that Intercollegiate Athletics, Career Development Center and the Arkansas Alumni Association have joined forces to produce this program for student athletes as well as students from across campus and young alumni.
Come join the University of Arkansas community as a Career Counselor at the University Career Development Center and help students make plans to succeed professional. Assist students with career education and exploration, planning for a job or graduate school, and/or providing resources for the job search process. Join the family and help our students excel in their professional endeavors!
Since its launch on August 2nd, over 364 alumni members have logged in and checked out the new Razorback CareerLink. These members have been among the first to use the simple user interface to post resumes and begin searching for new career opportunities. For those members who have not yet logged in, here are some tips for accessing and using Razorback CareerLink.
The Arkansas Alumni Association is delighted to be able to offer this great new service to Alumni Association members. This new system is top of the line and will provide our most recent graduates to our most experienced alumni the career tools they need to be successful. This product launch represents the first of many exciting new services and programs that the Association will be adding through the next year as part of its Arkansas Alumni Career Network.
The Spring 2010 Graduates of the Professional Development Institute (PDI) have officially gone Whole Hog. They have 100 percent membership in the Arkansas Alumni Association. PDI is a program of the University of Arkansas Career Development Center.

However, it is critical to know and possess the skills employers value and to know how to market those skills. Here are some tips and tools to help you market your skills in this time of economic uncertainty.
We are examining our career services and tools currently available for alumni members (career job board, directory, LinkedIn Group, etc.) and are noticing they are similar to other organizations out there. We are looking to set ourselves apart and make the Arkansas Alumni Association a national leader in the alumni career services area. We need your thoughts and ideas regarding what career services and tools we can offer to assist in your professional careers and career development goals.
