The AIM conference has helped the BGSA and the Graduate School promote diversity for graduate programs at the University, by hosting students from around the country. Each student is not only exposed to the benefits of going to graduate school at the University of Arkansas, but they are also introduced to the leadership and faculty members within their area of interest.

Airic Hughes, Student Program Coordinator, and Phillip Gahagans represented the Arkansas Alumni Association and the Black Alumni Society at the AIMS Conference held at the U of A in February. BAS has been a conference sponsor for four years.

On behalf of the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) and the Graduate School, and International Education, we want to express our sincere thanks for your support of the AIM Conference 2012. By all accounts, the conference was a great success. We realize it could not have happened without each of you. We are in the process of finalizing the details for accounting purposes. To that end, if you need any specific information for your own accounting purposes, let me know.

Our participants truly enjoyed their visit to the University of Arkansas, and the BGSA was a splendid host. We look forward to working with you in the future, to meet your recruiting needs. Again, we say thanks.
