Greetings members and friends of the Black Alumni Society:
It is a pleasure to serve as chairpersons for the 2013 Black Alumni Society Reunion, which will be held April 19-21, 2013. We are very grateful for your support during our 10th Black Alumni Reunion celebration. Your generosity and dedication to the African American students on our campus was tremendous last year and we hope that you will “Look Back, Think Back, Come Back, and Give Back in 2013.
The Black Alumni Society board and reunion committee have been hard at work to ensure that as members your feedback and concerns were taken into serious consideration as we planned the 2013 Black Alumni Reunion. We heard you loud and clear and we are pleased to announce back by popular request, the welcome reception will be held on Friday night at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. The Awards Banquet is a black tie affair and will be held on Saturday night. Last but absolutely not least, registration costs will be economical and cost effective in 2013.
We are very excited about the feedback that our membership provided and eager to see all of you here on April 19-21, 2013. Come join us as we celebrate the achievements of alumni returning to campus and be a part of the movement exceeding expectations in the contributions that you will make to the Scholarship Endowment Fund for our African American students who attend the “You of A.”
