P.J. Lambey, BAS Endowed Scholar, is the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement’s Student Leader of the Week for Oct. 3-9. Lambey sees humility and being willing to serve as key characteristics of a leader. “I feel without service, you cannot effectively lead because you are not benefiting anyone but yourself,” Lambey explained. ” I would tell other leaders to make sure they are developing new leaders and try to find a way to get the best out of every person in their group or organization.”
