Reina Watanabe is a junior at the University of Arkansas majoring in Environmental, Soil and Water Science. She was the recipient of the PRIDE Alumni Society Scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year.
“Hi! I just returned from a semester abroad in Montevideo, Uruguay where I took Spanish and environmental science courses and lived with a homestay,” Watanabe said. “This summer, I will be working as a camp counselor and teaching garden and nature classes at Camp Lochearn in Vermont.
