WOOO PIG! HORNS DOWN! Arkansas beats Texas and I was there! This was so exciting and I think I will forever remember this day. Given my freshman year was not as great as it could have been with COVID, classes online, limited opportunities for athletic or other events, this Arkansas vs. Texas game will be hard to beat as far as memorable experiences this year. Everything this year started off different – in a good way. I have all my classes in person and being on campus is so much fun. Seeing all my friends and making new ones in classes, and just seeing the way college should look and feel has been amazing. And then there is football. I bought the access pass last year and this year for U of A sports, and let’s face it, football was not all that great last year. So, to be at a game where we beat a huge rival by more than was predicted, to have a sold-out stadium, to have the fans create the red and white stripes in the stadium so well, and to storm the field after the game is something I will never forget. What a way to start off my Sophomore year. Can’t wait to go to Dallas for the Texas A&M game! Go HOGS!!
