Let’s Get Ready to Call Those Hogs!
Football season is quickly approaching and that means the Arkansas Alumni Association will host a Hog Wild Tailgate, previously known as Pre-Game Rallies, 2 ½ hours prior to every home (Fayetteville) football game at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. We will kick off our Hog Wild Tailgate season with Arkansas vs. Jacksonville State at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 1.
This Labor Day weekend, get ready to cheer on the Hogs while enjoying entertainment, beverages and food from Catering Unlimited and Shake’s Frozen Custard. During the Membership Appreciation Tailgate on Nov. 3, the Alumni Association will feature a Hog Wild Kids Zone! This is a new area just for the younger members of the University of Arkansas family. Children will enjoy games, face painting, balloons, a bouncy house and many more activities.
(Hog Wild Tailgates are a benefit of membership in the Arkansas Alumni Association. Only registered guests are allowed in the facility during the tailgate.)
The Arkansas Alumni Association also hosts Alumni Alley located just south of the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House. Alumni Alley provides tailgating spots for avid Razorback fans who are looking for a space to tailgate with their friends and family close to the stadium.
In addition to Hog Wild Tailgates, the Alumni Association will travel to College Station, Texas, on Sept. 28-29 to welcome Texas A&M to the Southeastern Conference. It should be an exciting game as it marks the first time the two teams will play each other at Kyle Field since 1991, Arkansas’ last year in the Southwest Conference. We are offering a Razorback Road Trip Package to LaTorretta resort for this game, which includes the Hog Wild Party and private, round-trip transportation to the game, so you don’t have to worry about the traffic. Visit www.arkansasalumni.org/roadtrips for all of the package details.
We hope you’ll join us for Hog Wild Tailgates and the Razorback Road Trip to College Station!
