Dream Job/future plans (ex. Grad school): Starting this upcoming August I will be attending the University of Arkansas School of Law. After completing law school I would love to go into either corporate or agriculture land law or real estate law.
Why did you join the Student Alumni Association? I joined SAA because I wanted to be involved in something bigger than just myself. I wanted to be apart of something that would shape this university and keep the traditions we all hold dear alive.
What are three great things about SAA that many people might not know about?
- You get to meet a lot of interesting and exciting alumni at special events.
- You can get a bunch of cool discounts, not only on campus but in Fayetteville and other parts of Arkansas as well.
- You get super close to a great group of leaders on campus.
What else are you involved in on campus?
I am involved in my sorority Alpha Delta Pi as a Big Diamond Sister and on various committees. I am a mentor in the Volunteer Action Committee’s Literacy Program. I read to a 5th grader once a week. I was a Make a Difference Day leader for Make a Difference Day 2013. I have been a CEA Note-Taker for a semester as well. I am in Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Phi Beta Kappa, and on the Dean’s and Chancellor’s list.
Advice about being involved in SAA:
Go to all the events. Even the non-mandatory ones, just go! You will get to meet amazing people and get to go to amazing events.
