The Arkansas Alumni Association is bringing the University of Arkansas 50th Reunion back this spring! We are pleased to host a 50th Reunion for the Class of 1963 at the University of Arkansas on May 10-11, 2013. This is the first time ever that our Golden Graduates will be able to participate in the All-University Commencement, complete with their own gold cap and gown. It will be such an exciting weekend!
Other reunion activities will include a welcome luncheon with Chancellor G. David Gearhart, a campus tour with Mike Macechko, emeritus executive director of the Arkansas Alumni Association, and an evening reception with the National Alumni Board of Directors.
To honor and recognize their 50 years as a University of Arkansas graduate, alumni will be inducted into the Golden Tower Society by Graham Stewart, executive director of the Arkansas Alumni Association and associate vice chancellor for alumni. Those inducted will receive the Golden Tower Society lapel pin and a special certificate commemorating this milestone.
We hope many classmates from the Class of 1963 will be able to attend the 50th Reunion. There’s no doubt the weekend will be filled with classmates reconnecting with each other and reminiscing about their U of A memories!
