An Honors College student, Brooke Atwell has spent her time at the University of Arkansas studying, researching, serving and traveling. Now, she plans to further her education as one of seven students admitted into the accelerated Master of Business Administration program in the Sam M. Walton College of Business. She began classes for the MBA program in January while she simultaneously completes her undergraduate studies.
While academics have remained a focal point throughout her life, Brooke also strives to be a well-rounded individual. She considers it a privilege to have served as co-leader of the Walton College Honors Student Executive Board for Walton College, vice president of Beta Gamma Sigma and philanthropy chairman for Chi Omega. Working with diverse groups of people and serving as a leader of different organizations on campus has afforded her many unique experiences. She says the faculty-led “UA Spanish in Madrid” study abroad trip in June 2012 was the greatest opportunity awarded to her at the U of A.
As a student in the accelerated MBA program, she will study abroad again in China this summer to study business concepts in Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Shenzhen. After returning from China, Brooke will complete her internship at Nielsen before finishing the MBA program in May 2016.
