Ebony O. Wyatt
General Mills
Ebony Wyatt has twelve years of consumer product sales experience with General Mills. She is currently a Senior Category Development Manager / Special Projects lead for traditional grocery customers at the General Mills corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Prior to this role, Ebony was a team leader on the Walmart General Mills team, managing a $500 million portfolio. Ebony has spent her career with General Mills, starting as an intern and has progressed through multiple sales roles with the company.
In addition to working for General Mills, Ebony is passionate about serving in the community and mentoring students. She is an active alumna of the University of Arkansas and sits on the Walton College Business Alumni Advisory Council and the Black Alumni Society Board. Ebony is also active in the recruiting process at the University of Arkansas.
In 2014, Ebony received the University of Arkansas’ Walton College’s Outstanding Service Award for her efforts in student development, recruiting leadership on campus and leadership within the alumni board network. Ebony is passionate about diversity and currently serves as the Vice President of the General Mills’ Black Champions Network. Ebony currently volunteers with the non-profit group Project DIVA, which provides middle and high school aged girls in underserved communities with mentoring in the areas of academics, career exploration and health and wellness.
Ebony is married to William Wyatt and they have two sons, Cannon (3 years old) and Coleman (11 months old). In her free time, she enjoys traveling, group fitness classes and home decorating.
The Black Alumni Society appreciates the professional development sessions Ebony Wyatt provided to the Black Alumni Society Scholars. More than 15 scholars took an opportunity to actively participate in developing their interviewing skills, elevator speeches and receiving suggestions from Ebony in perfecting their resumes.
