My favorite thing about the University of Arkansas is the endless amount of opportunities for students. As a freshman, I was extremely shy and introverted, but this year I decided to branch out and meet others. Because of this decision, I have been able to join different registered student organizations that revolve around things I am truly passionate about. Furthermore, the university provides a wide range of organizations that is fitting for every student. During my junior year, I have been able to become a part of great groups such as Women in Medicine, Alpha Epsilon Delta (the pre-medical society), Pre-Med Hogs, Hospital Helpers Student Organization, and more. On top of that, I have had the privilege of holding leadership positions in these organizations — through these positions I feel a closer bond to other students and the campus overall. I am grateful that the University of Arkansas provides limitless opportunities to become involved.
