The Arkansas Alumni Association welcomed four new staff members to the team. Thomas Ellis, director of outreach and chapters, Lisa Ault, accounting specialist, John McKendry, fiscal support analyst and Wren Myers, administrative assistant.
Ellis, is an Arkansas native, has proudly served in the United States Navy and also had the privilege of working in Development and Outreach at Florida Atlantic University. He comes to the U of A from The United Way of Broward County, where he led a nationally award winning program called Mission United. Thomas is a proud graduate of the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences and the Walton School of Business and is excited to be back at the University of Arkansas. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with family and friends, volunteering in the community and participating in recreational aviation.
Ault is a native of Melbourne, Arkansas and holds an Accounting degree from the U of A. She has worked in manufacturing accounting and real estate before joining U of A Financial Affairs in 2014. Lisa and her husband Gary have three children and most free time is spent enjoying the kids.
McKendry is originally from St. Louis and has an Accounting degree from Maryville University St. Louis. He moved from Ardmore, Oklahoma to Fayeteville in July of 2015 with his wife and two sons. John has utilized his Accounting degree with companies such as Noble Energy, Forum Energy Technology and Southwest Silicon Technologies in Oklahoma along with Mid-West Industrial Chemical in St. Louis. His hobbies are kayaking, traveling and activities with his family.
Myers is a recent graduate of Oklahoma State University where she was a member of the Spirit Team and studied Business Management. Wren grew up in Fayetteville participating in horse competitions. In her spare time, she still enjoys spending time out in the barn and riding her horse, Moose.
