The time has come to apply for the R.E.A.L. Razorbacks Scholarship. This is a one-year award in the amount of $500. The award is distributed in $250 at the beginning of each the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 semesters. Last year, seven awards of $500 were made on behalf of R.E.A.L. Razorbacks. These scholarships are made possible thanks to the generosity of student alumni members across the University of Arkansas campus. Every time a student purchases a membership for the Student Alumni Association, also known as R.E.A.L. Razorbacks, $2 is allocated to the R.E.A.L. Razorback Scholarship Fund.
To be eligible for the award the applicant must:
- Be a member of REAL Razorbacks, the Student Alumni Association, during both the application period as well as the entire year in which the award is granted
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have a 3.0 cumulative G.P.A. or higher
- Be a full-time student at the University of Arkansas
