Slide Shows & Videos
The site’s brand new look-and-feel is exemplified by the Slide Shows & Videos found throughout the site. The box displays exciting content, including videos and announcements.
Video is a major feature of the new www.arkansasalumni.org. We recommend that you upgrade your Flash Player to the latest version. The upgrade is free and can be downloaded from Adobe’s website. Download the latest Adobe Flash Player >
Search
Web industry trends show that users choose search as the most efficient way of finding information. In order to provide a top-notch experience for you we have integrated in with the University Google search engine to provide a quick means to find what you are after.
The search box is located in the top and center of every page. Type the information you’re seeking into the box and click “Go!”
Get Connected
The Alumni Association is founded on the principles of building lifelong relationships with alumni & friends and fostering the connections of alumni & friends with each other and their Alma Mater. In short it is all about Getting Connected and social media is all about getting connected. Therefore the Association has established an official presence on several social site and we hope that you’ll take a moment to connect with us, classmates and fellow Razorback fans today.
Click on “Get Connected” in the top menu bar, and the list of sites will appear.
Why Change It?
The Arkansas Alumni Association’s new website was first envisioned from visitor’s feedback about what they were not able to find. Along with an elaborate Strategic Plan we found that our visitors were more interested in “What are alumni & friends doing?” and “What’s happening/changing at my Alma Mater?” Thus we realized that there was a need to realign what the site was used for and get back to our basic principle of building lifelong relationships.
Ongoing user feedback is an important component of the new site. We will continue to improve ArkansasAlumni.org based upon what you tell us.

LOOKS GREAT-I WAS A LITTLE CONFUSED
ABOUT SCHOLARSHIPS
Kinley, please feel free to elaborate on that and we’ll be glad to help clear things up. Also check out the following http://news.arkansasalumni.org/scholarship-application-update.php for an update on the deadlines for the Application & Transcripts.
Paul – the search box does not allow you to click in it to type in a search word,. Help!
I need contact info for Robin January since my email address for her – robinj@uark.edu is not working, apparently.
Judith, thanks for reporting. It seems to be working now for me… let me know if you are still having trouble. You can always reach Robin at scholarships@arkansasalumni.org or leave a message a 1-888-275-2586.
Is there a way to check your membership status or expiration date?
Kim, we are hoping to bring that feature online very soon. Also feel free to call us a 1-888-275-2586 or email membership@arkansasalumni.org and we’ll be glad to look it up for you. We appreciate your continued support.
Did you discontinue the @razorbackroad.com e-mail forwarding service?
Since I am in the military and have moved every 18 mos-3yrs for the last 15 years, my razorbackroad e-mail address has been both a source of pride and a practical way to maintain single e-mail address as I move from place to place. I’m hoping I don’t have to try and find/reconnect with all the people and businesses that used what I considered my “permanent” address.
Eric, we did not discontinue but upgraded the service for enhanced features. During our upgrade a few users did not get transferred over. If you are no longer receiving your @razorbackroad.com messages please email us at help@arkansasalumni.org and we’ll get you set back up right away. Please remember that @razorbackroad.com email services are a member benefit and current membership is required to have an account.
How do I access the on-line alumni directory?
We have upgraded our online alumni directory and it is now available at http://www.foreverarkansas.org. If you have any problems or need help with login information please e-mail help@arkansasalumni.org.
Paul,
I tried to get to membership directory from the Get Connected area and it didn’t work. I only found it when I read this feedback page. I’m too busy to spend a lot of time learning a new website and reading every page to find what little I use.
Thanks for your hard work.
I click on the Volunteers button and can’t find any volunteer resources for Chapter volunteers. The previous site had good resources and information for us to use.
Thanks
Dave, we are still working on improving the volunteers section of the site. The resources that you are looking for can be found at http://www.arkansasalumni.org/chapterleaders. Please feel free to bookmark that page for future use. Also thanks for the reminder I’ve got the Directory link updated.
Testing out the FB Connect option on the Arkansas Alumni news site.
Do you all realize that the majority of “Membership Benefits” listed are only beneficial to people that have consistent access to NW Arkansas, as in they live there? It would be nice if there were more benefit perks for ALL of us that don’t live in the UofA’s backyard.
This is maybe one of the reasons it is hard to recruit members.
Candice, thanks for your comment. We have a very large and diverse listing of benefits for local & national alumni & friends and are always looking for more quality benefits for our members. If you can think of a company we should consider have them contact us to become a benefit partner.

It’s a real bummer that members can not renew on this site.
Marilyn, I’m glad to inform you that if you join/renew online at http://www.arkansasalumni.org/join then you’ll get renewed or activated as a new member (whichever is needed). We are working on enhanced options to allow members to renew with fewer clicks so keep a look out for those options too (or become a life member today and avoid needing to renew ever again).

How do I get connected to the “East Tennessee Regional Razorbacks” alumni group? There is no link on their name on the “Chapters & Regional Razorbacks” page. Thanks…..
The site has a great look and an even better feel. It is functional, precise, non-cluttered, easy to use and most of all, it has important information easy to find. Keep up the great work! _______________ Mathew Farney – Web Hosting
