H.L. McGill, BA '77 Named Director of Mosaic Templars Cultural Center

The Department of Arkansas Heritage (DAH) announced today that H. L. McGill will be director of the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (MTCC), the department’s museum for African American culture. The museum offers exhibits and programming about African Americans in Arkansas from 1870 to the present, especially concerning their contributions to business, politics and the arts. His position will be effective Dec. 13.

Dr. Hemphill's 5th Annual College Fair

Dr. Renaldo J. Hemphill provided an opportunity for students in the ninth to the twelfth grade to participate in his foundation’s 5th Annual College and Financial Aid Fair held at Cherry Street AME Zion Church. More than 25 students turned out for the event and over six colleges and universities were present for the college far, including the University of Arkansas.
