If you’re reading this article, we know you have acknowledged the role you play in the YOU of A as an alum, donor, faculty or staff member, friend or fan. That’s why we’re inviting YOU to re-visit all things Arkansas Alumni Association.
Starting with our new slogan: Your Connection Starts Here. More than ever, we are providing a true connection through our communications, events, chapters, networks, tours, relationships, stories, career networking, membership, perks, business opportunities…and the list goes on. If we had to pick one word that illustrates our purpose as an organization it would be: connect. We examined this more, and brought students, faculty, alumni, members, friends, etc. to the table to discuss their view of our organization. The results were crystal clear. We are the connection to the YOU of A in so many ways. We are excited to roll-out this new slogan, and hope you enjoy seeing the truth in those words, as much as we will enjoy bringing them to life to better serve YOU!
We’ve already started working to improve quite a few areas of need, including our digital connection: www.arkansasalumni.org, which was revealed late last month. The improvements you see came directly from the voices of our members, alumni and friends and some intense analytic research. You’ll notice a clean, modern design with detailed menu navigation to help you find what you’re looking for. You might even stumble upon some information you didn’t realize we had! Look for our helpful tips each month in @Arkansas and on the homepage. If you view our site on the go, you’ll notice the new mobile menu, pages formatted for hand-held devices and online event check-in. No matter where you are, www.arkansasalumni.org is your connection to the latest events and perks. We don’t want you to miss them! Check back often to get the full user-experience as our enhancements roll-out!
Along with our slogan and new site, we’ve given nearly all of our print and electronic communication pieces a much-needed update. This newsletter, for example, has a completely new look to help you get the news and information you love at a glance. From our new official color to our new logo, we are very much embracing a year of change and improvement, and we do it all for you! If you see something you like on our site or on our social media channels we invite you to share! You might even win a prize if you tag your post with #ConnectYOUofA!
