Everyone knows that tailgating is a tradition in the South. Consisting of good food, drinks, football and great friends, the act of tailgating is alive and well on the Fayetteville campus. Razorback fans are passionate about the pre-game tradition and continue to make each tailgate bigger and better every year. Although there is a “sea of red” in the stadium, that same red can be seen all over campus on game day and staff at Southern Living magazine have noticed.
The magazine has named the University of Arkansas as one of the top 20 schools with the best tailgating and are encouraging readers to choose which University should win the coveted title of “The South’s Best Tailgate.” Razorback fans can go vote online at southernliving.com/tailgate through Oct. 1. Southern Living will announce the winner by Nov. 10 at a home game.
