Stacie Walters Fujii B.A.’98, J.D.’02 joined the Arkansas Alumni Association National Board of Directors in July 2023. She serves on the board’s public relations and external relations committees.
The National Alumni Board oversees the programs and policies that carry out the association’s mission — to connect and serve the University of Arkansas family.
Fujii is a political strategist with over twenty years of federal government and political relations experience. Fujii’s interest in politics began early as a page for Governor Bill Clinton, developing further as a congressional staffer for Representative Vic Snyder (D-AR) in the U.S. House of Representatives.
In 2012, Fujii founded SWF Consulting LLC, a full-service bipartisan government relations and political consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., where she serves as president and CEO.
Fujii is a tremendous resource with extensive knowledge of coalition building, crisis management, civil liberties issues and international relations. She consults on issues related to appropriations, defense, democracy building, education, energy, homeland security, human rights, marginalized people groups/race relations, voter protections and the Middle East. She also lectures on the importance of coalition building, effective Capitol Hill advocacy and female empowerment in politics.

Fujii is a lifetime member and former chair of the board of trustees for the American Council of Young Political Leaders.
In her free time, Fujii enjoys fly fishing, raises Standard Poodles, and is an amateur botanist. She also has met all but one of the living presidents.
Fujii holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas. She is a life member, A+, of the Arkansas Alumni Association.
