Greetings and happy summer to you and your families!

I hope all of you had a great start to your summer and that you’re having a wonderful 2016 thus far!  I had a busy start to the summer, first spending a week back home with my family in Rocklin, California and then traveling to Washington D.C. to spend a week visiting my cousin and exploring our nation’s capitol for the very first time! Now that I am back in Fayetteville, I look forward to working, exploring some of Northwest Arkansas’ beauty and taking a summer class!

I completed my Spring 2016 semester with a 3.8 GPA while taking 15 credits and continuing as a member of the Women’s Track & Field team. I spent this last semester finishing up all of my general education classes so I can look forward to spending my senior year taking classes that I enjoy and completing courses required for my degree! This fall I plan on taking Exercise Prescription, Exercise Application for Special Populations, and a couple of elective classes. I look forward to finishing off my undergraduate college education on a high note!

I’m also excited to share that your Razorback Women’s Track & Field team JUST won their second ever NCAA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS and first ever OUTDOOR National Championships! Woo Pig!! We are super excited as a team about this accomplishment! Not many people can say they have been a member of a NCAA Championship team, but I’m extremely proud to be one of those people who can! As for myself, I was not happy about my performance this last season BUT I cannot wait to come back for my last year giving everything I got, be stronger than ever, and do my part to help the team win another NCAA championship!  And don’t forget to watch many of our past and current Razorback’s compete in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio!

I can’t believe I’m about to start my last year as an undergraduate at the University of Arkansas. I have a lot of thinking to do this summer and Fall semester about what/where I would like to do next to further my education and career. I can’t wait to see where this year will take me!

I am forever grateful to the San Francisco Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni for all the opportunities you have given me and for the continuous support and love!

Here’s to another exciting year at the University of Arkansas in beautiful Fayetteville, Arkansas!!

WOOO PIG!!!
