Inspiration to become involved in the Student Alumni Board really started with current University of Arkansas graduate student Airic Hughes. A former advisor of SAB, Hughes expressed a concern and desire to see the Student Alumni Board representing the University body to truly represent it for all of its diversity.
That call was one I wanted to answer; it is my job to tie the activities of the Student Alumni Board to the varying, diverse family that composes the “YOU of A.” Most currently, I have been working in coordinate with the Associated Student Government as the Martin Luther King Day vigil approaches and look forward to additional partnerships with Multicultural Center as Black History Month nears.
