The Richard E. Barnes Award is the highest recognition of support and service to the industry presented to an individual for lifetime achievement. During the American Concrete Pipe Association’s Annual Convention on March 9th, the 2010 award was presented to Roman Selig, who entered the industry in 1987 to work for Sherman Industries. Through the years, Roman was a volunteer for several state pipe associations and on committees working with state transportation agencies. Also noted was the fact that he has worked on just about every committee in the ACPA. Roman is now a Territory Manager for Hamilton Kent.
