Clayton Hamilton began his service on the Arkansas Alumni Association National Board of Directors in July 2023 and serves on the board’s Finance and Internal Relations Committees.
The National Alumni Board oversees the programs and policies that carry out the association’s mission — to connect and serve the University of Arkansas family.
A native of Little Rock, Hamilton graduated from the U of A with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He earned a master’s degree in sports management from the United States Sports Academy in 1997 and his CPA certification from the state of Arkansas in 1998.
Hamilton has a wealth of experience in finance and athletics administration. He returned to the U of A in 2010 and currently serves as the deputy athletic director and chief financial officer for Razorback Athletics. Before his return, Hamilton spent eight years at Florida State University and the University of Colorado. He has worked with the Dallas Cowboys, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the former Little Rock-based Alltel Corporation.
“Clayton’s experiences and insights have made an immediate impact on the National Alumni Board,” said Brandy Cox Jackson M.A.’07, Ph.D’23, associate vice chancellor and executive director of the Arkansas Alumni Association. “He is a passionate and dedicated alumnus with a deep understanding of our mission.”
Hamilton also supports U of A athletics as a member of the department’s executive cabinet, senior administrative staff, sports administrator group and bowl management committee. He is the sport administrator for men’s basketball and works as an adjunct professor in the university’s sports management program. Hamilton is a life member of the Arkansas Alumni Association.
It is a pleasure to have Clayton Hamilton on the National Alumni Board. We have already benefitted tremendously from his vast experience and contagious enthusiasm for all things Arkansas Razorbacks.
