The 2012 Homecoming football game is right around the corner and activities leading up to the big game between the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane have students, faculty, staff and alumni excited and ready to cheer on the Hogs.

As with every home game, the Arkansas Alumni Association will be hosting a Homecoming Hog Wild Tailgate at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House on Saturday, Nov. 3, two and a half hours prior to kick-off. Providing guests with food, drinks, music and performances by the University of Arkansas cheerleaders and Razorback Marching Band, the Nov. 3rd tailgate will provide entertainment for the children with a special Kids Zone area full of fun games, snacks and activities.

Registered guests will receive ticket packets for the Kids Zone, complete with one ticket for each game. Children will enjoy popcorn and cotton candy while participating in face painting and balloon animal activities. With a chance to win various prizes, children can play Pork Chop’s Hog Walk, Hog Fling, Boss Hog Toss, Razorback Ladder Ball, Sue E.’s Lollipop Tree, Big Red Bucket Toss and Hog Dig.

The cost to attend the Homecoming Hog Wild Tailgate is $20 for members and non-members. Children ages 5-12 are $5 and children ages 4 and under are free.
