The Arkansas Alumni Association is proud to welcome two new staff members, Deb Euculano and Rachael Nassar.

Knowledgeable of the university and Northwest Arkansas community, Euculano joins the Association as its newest associate director. Prior to joining the Association, Euculano worked as the director of Greek Life programs for 18 years and served as an adviser to Greek organizations, making her a familiar face at the University of Arkansas.  Once leaving her post at the university, she became a non-profit leader with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce.

Her experience at the university and through her non-profit organizations has allowed her to provide leadership to volunteer-oriented programs. From selecting and training volunteers, and supporting boards, to developing programs to meet the needs of the community, her background and extensive knowledge of the university and non-profit management will be a strong asset to the Association.

As associate director of the Arkansas territory, Euculano will work with volunteers in existing alumni chapters, as well as those who are interested in establishing new chapters in various areas. Aside from her work with chapters, she will be responsible for departmentally-based professional societies such as Lemke Journalism and Civil Engineering Alumni Societies. In addition, she will form relationships with external stakeholders such as Chambers of Commerce, Razorback clubs and other non-profit and education entities, as well as managing the Association’s annual Pride of Arkansas Tour outreach effort.

Joining Euculano is Rachael Nassar, the records assistant for Alumni Services. A graduate of Stillwater High School, Nassar is currently pursuing a degree at Northwest Arkansas Community College. She has a history of working with data, tracking inventory and directing the Kids Day Out program at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Springdale.

As a member of the Alumni Services team, Nassar will be responsible for updating, researching and maintaining large amounts of records in ADVANCE. She will also prepare membership checks for the membership coordinator, generate membership renewals, acknowledgements and cards, work with University Development to reconcile monthly Arkansas Hog Tags, and collaborate on special research projects.
