In Memoriam: Rev. Louis Bell, Jr.

Louis Bell, Jr. 90, of Little Rock was born to the union of Louis Anthony Bell, Sr. and Birdie Lee Davis Bell. He passed away after experiencing a lengthy illness. A World War II veteran, he completed radio and TV training and certification to open Bell’s Radio/Television Repair. He also began working originally as a janitor for Fort Roots VA Hospital, North Little Rock, before ultimately becoming the first African American Laboratory Technician.
