The ring ceremony held by the Arkansas Alumni Association on April 12th was the largest to date. With that being said, let’s note that there were only about 165 people in attendance, which seems like a relatively small percentage when compared to the couple of thousand students graduating this year. So what is it that is holding students back from participating in this tradition?

As alumni, Natalie and Ryan Biles of Lonoke strive to lead with humility and a joy to give back to the University of Arkansas that poured so much into them. As recent graduate members of the Arkansas Alumni Association, they have ventured to take on exciting new leadership roles at the University of Arkansas through their involvement in the Young Alumni Board. The couple hopes to encourage fellow grads to find creative ways to stay in touch with their alma mater.

A new University of Arkansas logo was unveiled Tuesday, March 3, by the office of university relations, which has led a nine-month redesign effort. The logo serves as the graphic identity for the university, and for the past 20 years has consisted of an image of the north tower of Old Main with the university’s name inscribed upon it.
