Corrie Byers, of Fayetteville, has been chosen by the Arkansas Alumni Association to receive the 2011 Membership Scholarship for the 2011-2012 school year. Growing up in Fayetteville, Byers’ love for the Razorbacks began at a young age.
The Arkansas Alumni Association has chosen Brock Robertson to receive the 2011 Razorback Generations Scholarship. A resident of Springdale, Robertson took seven AP courses in high school “in order to better prepare myself for college courses,” he said.
Hoping to help lessen the financial burden of college, Paul Drake is thankful to receive the 2011 Membership Scholarship from the Arkansas Alumni Association.
The Arkansas Alumni Association has chosen to award Umanga Bastola with the 2011 Membership Scholarship. A native of Nepal, Bastola is a transfer student.
The Arkansas Alumni Association has chosen Victoria Wood as a recipient of the 2011 Membership Scholarship. A native of Neosho, MO, Wood knew that out of all the campus tours she took, coming to the University of Arkansas “just felt right,” she said.
Taylor Shultz has been chosen by the Arkansas Alumni Association to receive the 2011 Membership Scholarship. Although she considers Bryant to be her home, Shultz, a senior, is proud to admit that the University of Arkansas has become “more of a home to me than I ever could have imagined.”
Wishing to lessen the financial burden that college often presents, Tanmaya Kumar appreciates the 2011 Membership Scholarship that has been awarded to him by the Arkansas Alumni Association. As an international student from India, Kumar arrived at the University of Arkansas in 2008.
The Arkansas Alumni Association has chosen to award Parash Rajbhansi with the 2011 Membership Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Living in the U.S. for the past four years, Rajbhansi grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Jessica Gallagher, of Richardson, TX, is the latest recipient of the Arkansas Alumni Association’s 2011 Membership Scholarship. Attending J.J. Pearce High School, Gallagher was actively involved in school; maintain a balance between academics, athletics and student clubs.
The 2011 Membership Scholarship has been awarded to James Birke, of Fayetteville, by the Arkansas Alumni Association. Growing up, Birke displayed a fascination for nature. Consider national parks to be some of his favorite places to visit, he grew curious as to how they are designed and created.
