Steve Nipper, community bank president of BancorpSouth in Magnolia, will take the helm of the Arkansas Alumni Association Board of Directors on July 1, 2010, for a two-year term. “I am humbled and honored to be elected president of the Alumni Association,” he said. “I am certainly proud to be able to serve. It is gratifying to find a way to give back to my university, which has given me the foundation for my career.”

As the out-of-state leg of the third week of the 2010 Pride of Arkansas Tour wrapped up in Tulsa, Okla., the in-state staff team continues their travels in southern Arkansas. No matter where we go, though, we are meeting many alumni who are proudly passing on the family legacy of receiving a diploma from the University of Arkansas to their children.
