Abby Wise has been chosen by the Arkansas Alumni Association to receive the 2011 “Roads” Scholarship. Attending high school in Jonesboro, Wise was actively involved in Beta Club, National Honors Society, tutoring, softball and cross country, all while working part-time at Subway.
Hillary Felts, a Jonesboro native, has been chosen as a recipient of the Arkansas Alumni Association’s 2011 “Roads” Scholarship. As captain of her high schools’ cheer squad, secretary of FBLA, president of Students Who Care, and senior representative of Student Council, Felts hopes to carry her leadership persona and knowledge from high school to college.
The Arkansas Alumni Association has chosen Margaret Kelley as a recipient of the “Roads” Scholarship, beginning in the fall of 2010. Hailing from Jonesboro, Kelley graduated magna cum laude from Jonesboro High School. During her time in high school, she won two JHS Dance Team 6A state championships and ran cross-country for the school. She is equally proud of her title as Miss Hurricane, which she obtained during her senior year of high school.
