The Toller Celebration Bell at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House will ring at noon Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, in honor of UATV’s 15th anniversary and the launch of the new channel. Cox Communications has moved UATV to Channel 214, and the station will be operated exclusively by University of Arkansas students 24 hours a day, year-round.
The Toller Celebration Bell at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House will ring at noon Thursday, June 24 to honor a team of University of Arkansas graduate students who placed first in the 2010 Licensing Executives Society Foundation’s International Graduate Student Business Plan Competition. The team includes Stephen Ritterbush, Seth Shumate, Douglas Hutchings and Brent Bertelsen.
The Toller Celebration Bell rang in honor of the Official Ring recipients gathered at the Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House on April 13, 2010. The Arkansas Alumni Association hosted a record crowd of recipients and their families and friends gathered to celebrate the tradition of the ring.
