A graduate of the Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism has been named recipient of the 18th annual Ernie Deane Award for valor in journalism.

Ted Goll, of Fayetteville, has been chosen by the Arkansas Alumni Association to receive the 2011 “Roads” Scholarship. Attending Fayetteville High School, Goll stayed actively involved in academics and extracurricular activities.
Corrie Byers, of Fayetteville, has been chosen by the Arkansas Alumni Association to receive the 2011 Membership Scholarship for the 2011-2012 school year. Growing up in Fayetteville, Byers’ love for the Razorbacks began at a young age.
The Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association has chosen Heather Randall to receive the $1,000 scholarship for the 2011-2012 school year. A resident of Fayetteville, Randall has been a student at the University of Arkansas since 2007.
Mary Kate Harrison, of Fayetteville, is the latest recipient of the 2011 Razorback Generations Scholarship, which was awarded by the Arkansas Alumni Association. Setting long-term goals in high school, Harrison got an early start in gaining career-oriented experience.
Corrie Byers, of Fayetteville, has been chosen to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Northwest Arkansas Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association. Growing up surrounded by Razorback fans, Byers has always expressed a love for the University of Arkansas.
