The Bumpers College Alumni Society Board of Directors presented 200 pounds of rice to the University of Arkansas Full Circle Campus Food Pantry.
Kallie Sullivan, of Prairie Grove, has been chosen by the Arkansas Alumni Association to receive the 2011 “Roads” Scholarship. Involved in her high school’s agricultural clubs, Sullivan was a member of 4-H and FFA. Judging livestock, she went to the National FFA Convention and her team received first place.

Grateful to be given the chance to achieve a degree and obtain life experience, Daniela Jankovska expresses thanks to the Arkansas Alumni Association for awarding her the 2011 Membership Scholarship. As an international student from Macedonia, Jankovska relies on scholarships to help fund her education.
Since 1961, the Arkansas Alumni Association has proudly recognized the exemplary achievements of University of Arkansas faculty through the Arkansas Alumni Association Distinguished Faculty Achievement Awards amongst three categories of accomplishment: teaching, research and public service. Additionally, the University of Arkansas honors a faculty member with the Charles and Nadine Baum Faculty Teaching Award. For the first time, the Baum Award winner also will be honored at the Alumni Awards Celebration during Homecoming this fall.

Seth Murdoch has been chosen by the Arkansas Alumni Association as a recipient of the Membership Scholarship. Hailing from Cabot, Murdoch is a fifth year senior who has switched his major to dietetics/nutrition in the Dale Bumpers College of Agriculture, Food & Life Sciences.
Add all their years together and Jerry Williams, his father and his brother have 110 years of service to the state of Arkansas in agriculture. Williams and his brother Kenneth grew up on a University of Arkansas agriculture experiment station in Crittenden County where their father, Wallace, was resident director. Kenneth was staff chair in Ashley County for many years. Both brothers retired from Extension within a year of each other.
An early game and cold weather were not near enough to stop fans from showing their Razorback Spirit as Arkansas geared up to face off against Auburn. The Janelle Y. Hembree Alumni House was alive with Pride & Passion as over 700 Razorback fans joined us for the Auburn vs. Arkansas Pre-Game Rally and got ready to cheer on the Hogs.
