University of Arkansas Chancellor G. David Gearhart has announced his decision to retire, effective July 31, after serving 20 years at the University including seven years as chancellor, ten years as vice chancellor for University Advancement and three years previously as director of development.

‘Calling All Hogs Home’ Sets Philanthropic Record

The Dallas Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association will host University of Arkansas Chancellor G. David Gearhart, on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Bent Tree Country Club, for the annual Dallas Chapter Banquet. Proceeds from this event support the Dallas Chapter scholarship fund benefitting University of Arkansas students from North Texas.
