Steve Nipper, community bank president of BancorpSouth in Magnolia, will take the helm of the Arkansas Alumni Association Board of Directors on July 1, 2010, for a two-year term. “I am humbled and honored to be elected president of the Alumni Association,” he said. “I am certainly proud to be able to serve. It is gratifying to find a way to give back to my university, which has given me the foundation for my career.”
The Arkansas Alumni Association is proud to welcome its newest life member, Tusk II. Tusk II was presented with his membership card on Saturday, November 7, 2009 during the first-quarter break of the South Carolina football game at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
The Johnson Fellows program was created for the specific purpose of bringing esteemed alumni back to the University of Arkansas campus to engage and inspire students. Razorbacks and Student Alumni Board members.
The Arkansas Alumni Association proudly welcomes new board of directors with the class of 2012. Each board member has agreed to serve a three-year term starting July 1, 2009. Members of the Arkansas Alumni Association approve the selection of candidates to serve three-year terms on the board of directors, which comprises slated members, at-large members and officers. The board oversees programs and policies that carry out the Association’s mission – to connect and serve the University of Arkansas family.
