The Student Alumni Association (S.A.A.) Scholarship gets its namesake thanks to the generosity of student alumni members across the University of Arkansas campus.
Preston Baker is a senior supply chain management major who grew up in San Antonio, TX. During his freshman year his family moved home to Fayetteville and two of his four brothers also attend the U of A.
Elizabeth Fiser is a senior majoring in Food, Human Nutrition and Hospitality from Little Rock, Arkansas. She is completing a dietetics concentration in Bumpers College, as well as a communication minor. Elizabeth serves on the Student Alumni Board as Director of Alumni Relations.
The Mid-South Chapter of the Arkansas Alumni Association was recently reorganized and in celebration the chapter co-hosted a Forever Arkansas reception with the Association on February 29, 2012.
Peyton Baker served as the Volunteer Chairman of the Homecoming Committee in the fall of 2011.
The Student Alumni Association was created in 2003 with the mission to “inspire loyalty, preserve the University of Arkansas traditions, and establish the bond between the University of Arkansas students and alumni”.
The Student Alumni Board looks forward to cosponsoring the Derby Days Blood Drive, along with Sigma Chi, the Associated Student Government and the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks.
