condoleeze riceCondoleezza Rice, former secretary of state under President George W. Bush, will be the spring speaker in the student-funded Distinguished Lecture Series at the University of Arkansas. She is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in Barnhill Arena.

The lecture is free, open to the public and no tickets are needed to attend.

“The Distinguished Lecture Committee has been working for several years to bring Dr. Rice to campus,” said Tyler Priest, co-chair of the committee. “Students have told us consistently that she is at the top of the list of people they want to speak here.
