In connection with the Arkansas Alumni Association's volunteer engagement program, the Association is pleased to announce the creation of "Helpin' Like a Hog." Only a few weeks into the planning process, staff members have come together to create a program that will help to engage alumni who express an interest in community service.

Since its founding in 1878, the Arkansas Alumni Association has stayed true to its mission—"to connect and serve the University of Arkansas family." As new alumni form each year, it is the goal of the Association to maintain contact with those who wish to remain close to the university and show their support through donations, volunteerism, membership and chapter involvement.

Living in Kansas City, Phil Schoettlin does not let the distance between Fayetteville and Missouri keep him from staying connected with the University of Arkansas. Serving as president of the Arkansas Alumni Association's Greater Kansas City Chapter and as a member of the Kappa Sigma XI Corporation and XI Alumni Association, Schoettlin enjoys the time he spends interacting with students and alumni.

Official Razorback license plates are now appearing on vehicles all across the state of Missouri. These new plates display Razorback pride on your ride while helping students pay for college. Send us a photo of your tag to share with other Arkansas alumni.

Hog Tags Now on Vehicles in Missouri

The wait is over! Razorbacks will soon appear on license plates in Missouri. The Arkansas Alumni Association has finished collecting the 200 required initial applications for the plates, and the Missouri Department of Transportation has started production. Anyone with a vehicle registered in Missouri can buy a Razorback License Plate, including those who are not University of Arkansas alumni.
