The Arkansas Alumni Association has chosen Brock Robertson to receive the 2011 Razorback Generations Scholarship. A resident of Springdale, Robertson took seven AP courses in high school “in order to better prepare myself for college courses,” he said. As a triplet, his two other siblings will be attending college this year as well. Understanding the financial burden that college often brings, Robertson is thankful to receive this award.

“Thank you for my Arkansas Alumni scholarship for $2,500. My family is sending three children into college at the same time so every scholarship is a great relief to my parents, and will help their financial burden considerably.”

Admiring the University of Arkansas and its engineering program, Robertson plans to major in mechanical engineering. Already in the process of mapping out his future goals, he plans to go on to receive his master’s degree once he graduates. While on campus, he looks to join co-ed sports as a way to get involved on campus.

“Thank you once again for this scholarship. It will go a long way this year to help pay for the great experience I am sure I will have at the U of A.”
